Will a ceiling fan actually cool the room, or just move warm air about?

A fan cools you, not the room. Moving air helps sweat evaporate, so the same temperature feels a few degrees cooler on your skin. On a warm night that is often the difference between sleeping and not.

I have low ceilings. Will it hang down too far?

Every fan shows its drop from the ceiling on the product page, measured on the actual unit. For ceilings around 2.3 to 2.5 m, look for the low-profile models. Not sure? Send us your ceiling height and we will point you to the right one.

Is it going to hum or click at night?

Motor noise is the first thing we test. Where we have a verified sound measurement it is shown in decibels on the product page. Most of our range uses DC motors, which are the quiet ones.

How long does delivery take?
